Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 24, 2026
TaskPilot ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by an individual developer and provides a subscription-based SaaS product for guided task planning and prioritization. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your personal data.
Note about the public web MVP: the interactive demo on our marketing site may run entirely in your browser, generate tasks using a local rule-based planner, and store your task data in your browser's local storage. That MVP flow does not require an account and does not call external large language model APIs.
Information We Collect
- Account Information (if/when enabled): Name, email address, and login credentials when you create an account in the hosted product.
- Task and Workspace Data: Goals, tasks, notes, priorities, and related project data you submit to the service (including data stored locally in your browser during the public MVP demo).
- Billing Information (if/when you purchase a subscription): Subscription status and transaction metadata from our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage and Device Data: Log data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and timestamps for security and diagnostics.
How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve TaskPilot features, including guided task planning and prioritization workflows.
- Process subscriptions, handle invoicing events, and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
- Monitor reliability, troubleshoot errors, and protect the platform.
Data Sharing
We share personal data only when necessary to operate the service, such as with trusted vendors for hosting, analytics, customer support, and payment processing. These providers may process data on our behalf under contractual obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Data Retention
We retain account and workspace data for as long as your subscription is active, and for a limited period afterward as required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute resolution purposes. When retention is no longer necessary, data is deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your account data, subject to legal exceptions.
- Object to or request restriction of certain processing activities.
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@taskpilotflow.com.
