Terms of Service
Last updated: April 24, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TaskPilot. TaskPilot is operated by an individual developer. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Service Description
TaskPilot is a subscription-based SaaS product that helps individuals and small teams plan work, break goals into actionable tasks, prioritize execution, and manage daily progress with guided planning workflows.
The public marketing site may include an interactive MVP that runs in your browser, uses a local rule-based planner, and stores demo task data in your browser's local storage. It does not call external large language model APIs.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Billing and Subscription
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you select (for example, monthly). When you complete checkout through our payment provider (for example, Creem), you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge your selected payment method.
Early access onboarding may be completed by email before checkout is enabled on the website. Card payments are only processed through the official checkout flow provided by the payment provider.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle unless otherwise required by law. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where refunds are required by applicable law.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activities.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or compromise the platform.
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates applicable law.
Intellectual Property
TaskPilot, including its software, branding, and service content (excluding user-provided content), is protected by intellectual property laws and remains the property of the operator. You retain ownership of the content and task data you submit to the service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskPilot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.
To the extent liability cannot be excluded, total liability is limited to the amount you paid for TaskPilot during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
